European Taekwondo Championship opens in Azerbaijan

The European Taekwondo Championship kicked off in Azerbaijan's capital Baku on Wednesday.

President of the World Taekwondo Federation Dr. Chungwon Choue and European Taekwondo Union (ETU) President Athanasios Pragalos attended the opening ceremony.

The European Taekwondo Championship will be held from May 1 to 4.

As many as 404 athletes from 46 countries and regions has been registered to participate in the championship.
