These petite posers are some of the teeniest models on the planet but still know how to trigger a buzz of excitement. The world of macro models is a tricky art to master, but these incredible snaps are the result of precision, good fortune and love.Wildlife photographer Alejandro Ferrer has spent two years capturing the microscopic realm of insects, favouring black and red spotted ladybirDespite measuring only millimetres, the 34-year-old shutterbug is able to capture the teeny critters in crystal clear snaps.Alejandro, from San Roque, Spain, spends most of his days among the green fields in his hometown and builds makeshift photoshoots for his beloved ladies.Alejandro said: 'Most of the photos are made in a small field we have in the town. I've been focussing on photography for the last ten years but really enjoy the world of the tiny insects.'My favourite insects are ladybirds, but I do really like them all, especially their vivd colours, textures and eyes.'I've found that if you treat insects with love, they will return the favour and may even pose for you.'Alejandro uses a Nikon D90, Tamron 90mm F2 macro lens 8, 530super ST sigma flash and a diffuser. He spends hours meticulously building his set, waiting until the sun is in the right position and the morning condensation is still present. But he insists the results are well worth the effort.Alejandro added: 'The pictures are amazing and I really enjoy spending time to take the pictures. The macro world is fascinating.' (dailymail.co.uk)ANN.Az
