Voting kicks off in Azerbaijan local elections

Voting started as of 8 a.m. in Azerbaijan’s municipal elections today.
The Central Electoral Commission will report about voter turnout five times (at 10 a.m., 12 a.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m. and after polls close at 7 p.m.) on its website throughout the day.
More than 37,000 candidates are running for 15,035 seats in municipalities across the country.
Of the candidates, 18,790 represent 30 political parties.
