Luis Suarez gets into the Christmas spirit by sending 500 parcels to children back in Uruguay

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has sent 500 Christmas baskets to children and their families at a Uruguayan hospital.
The former Liverpool striker showed his charitable and generous side by sending the festive parcels to the Pereira Rossell hospital in Montevideo.
Suarez also included a message on the packages which read: "Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2015 with your loved ones. Luis Suarez and family."
Suarez, who has scored once since his big-money move to the Spanish giants, is an ambassador for a children's cancer charity in Uruguay, 'Scremini Pérez'.
The parcels are said to include traditional Christmas foods and drinks and are sure to put a big smile on plenty of children's faces.
Suarez remains a hero in his homeland despite his biting controversies on the pitch which have seen his handed with lengthy bans.
