31.12.2014 16:00
The Peace Corps today announced that all Peace Corps Azerbaijan volunteers have safely and successfully closed their service and departed the country. The program is being suspended following 11 years of partnership and support from the Government of Azerbaijan.

The Peace Corps values its relationship with the people of Azerbaijan and hopes to work with them again at some point in the future.

Since the program was established in 2003, 550 Peace Corps volunteers have served in Azerbaijan working on projects in youth development, community economic development and English education.
