Turkey invited Azerbaijan to attend the G20 summit to be held in Turkey this year.

"Turkey hosts the G20 summit this year. Taking the opportunity, we have invited Azerbaijan to the summit,” Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said today at a press conference in Ankara with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ilham Aliyev.

Erdogan said trade between Turkey and Azerbaijan will grow to $25 billion by 2023 from $5 billion last year.

Erdogan also invited Aliyev to celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Çanakkale War (Gallipoli Campaign) to be held in Istanbul on April 24.
