Greece seeks to expand ties with Azerbaijan
04.02.2015 11:00
Greece seeks to strengthen and upgrade its cooperation with Azerbaijan, especially in the field of energy, Greek Energy Minister Panagiotis Lafazanis said.

The Greek government supports the planned Trans-Adriatic Pipeline (TAP), which will benefit both the country and the region, the minister said.

Greece will look for ways to improve benefits from the pipeline, Lafazanis said.

On the Desfa deal with SOCAR, the minister said the government will wait for a EU Commission decision before deciding anything on the sale.
