Azerbaijanis hold rally outside UN headquarters

The State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA that the rally organized by Azerbaijan Association of New York was attended by representatives of Azerbaijani and Turkish Diaspora organizations.

The rally started before the Office of Permanent Representative of Armenia to the UN was then continued outside the UN headquarters. The protestors with Azerbaijani and Turkish flags in the hands chanted slogans of "The Khojaly Genocide is The Gravest Crime Committed Against The Humanity in The Twentieth Century”, "Justice for Khojaly", "Azerbaijan won’t Forget The Khojaly Tragedy!", "Do Not Forget The Genocide!".

The protestors also chanted the slogans "Freedom for Dilgam Asgarov And Shahbaz Guliyev!” demanding the immediate release of the Azerbaijani hostages taken by Armenian armed forces”.
