Ilham Aliyev and his spouse attended the opening of the Baku Shooting Center

Minister of Youth and Sport Azad Rahimov informed the head of state of the center. It was said that the area of the complex, which is designed to host shooting sports and skeet shooting tournaments, was expanded to 19.6 hectares, Trend reports. 

President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the official opening of the facility.

It was noted that all buildings and facilities in the area of the Baku Shooting Center meet requirements of the International Shooting Sport Federation.

There is a state-of-the-art four-storey hotel for sportsmen, coaches and guests here. There are also a 495-car above-ground and a 26-car VIP parking lot in the center.
