Pakistani President arrives in Azerbaijan on official visit

APA reports that Mamnoon Hussain was welcomed by Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Yagub Eyyubov and other officials at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

The President is being accompanied by the delegation of Pakistani officials and businessmen.

Mamnoon Hussain is paying visit to Azerbaijan at the invitation of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The negotiations to be conducted during a three-day visit will be focused on the enhancement of the cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, education, defense, science and culture. Four MoUs and agreements will be signed during the visit. On the sidelines of the visit, a trade seminar will be also held.

The president will also confer Pakistan’s highest civil award of Hilal-e-Pakistan upon the First Lady of Azerbaijan, Madam Mehriban Aliyeva, in recognition of her services to the people of Pakistan and continuous humanitarian work, spanning over a decade.
