Asim Mollazade meets with the leadership of Uruguay

During the trip, the deputies met with the Speaker of the Uruguayan Parliament Alejandro Sanchez Pereira, members of the Senate and its chairman, vice-president of Uruguay Raúl Sendic, as well as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uruguay Luis Almagro.

During the meeting the sides exchanged views on Azerbaijan-Uruguay relations, inter-parliamentary relations, cooperation in various fields, as well as the strengthening of friendship between the two countries. Members of the Azerbaijani parliamentary delegation discussed with the Vice-President of State Oil Company of the Uruguayan ANCAP Herman Rieti implementation of bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, as well as the conclusion of the relevant contracts. It was decided to hold a meeting between the authorized representatives of ANCAP and the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan to discuss cooperation in the energy sector.
