Azerbaijan orders evacuation plans for Tehran embassy and Tabriz consulate

Following instructions from President Ilham Aliyev, evacuation orders have been issued for Azerbaijan’s embassy in Tehran and consulate-general in Tabriz, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said.

Bayramov emphasized that the safety of Azerbaijani citizens cannot be put at risk, and all processes will be closely monitored.

He added that official Baku is awaiting the results of the investigation to be conducted by Iranian authorities.
