Azerbaijan wins historic gold

Our athlete became European champion in wrestling.
On the third day of the first in the history European Wrestling Championship for athletes under 23, which is taking place these days in Poland, Azerbaijan won the gold medal.
According to News.Az, Alyona Kolesnik became the owner of the medal. In the weight category up to 55 kg, she defeated all her opponents, including Bulgarian Evelyna Nikolova in the final.
This is the fifth medal of Azerbaijan at this year's championship. Earlier in freestyle wrestling, Azerbaijani wrestlers won two silver and two bronze.
