President Aliyev visits Baku building destroyed by fire

President Ilham Aliyev visited a 16-story apartment building in Baku that was partially destroyed by a powerful fire yesterday.
At least 15 residents died and more than 60 were injured in the incident, which was the deadliest in recorded history of the Azerbaijani capital.
Aliyev inspected the building and gave orders to provide the necessary assistance to the victims, according to state news agency Azartac.
He also called for an investigation into the incident.
A state commission was created shortly after the fire to help the victims and investigate the cause of the fire.
