Azerbaijan summons French envoy over Nagorno-Karabakh

Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry summoned the French ambassador in Baku, Pascal Meunier, over a recent visit to Paris by officials from the separatist region of Nagorno-Karabakh.
The ambassador was handed a note of protest, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Xalaf Xalafov said: "This is contrary to the spirit of relations between Azerbaijan and France, and harm the solution of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia."
