Schweinsteiger and Ivanovic split over irreconcilable differences – representative

World Cup-winning footballer Bastian Schweinsteiger and former tennis world No.1 Ana Ivanovic have separated after years of marriage, Ivanovic’s representative said on Monday.

Lawyer Christian Schertz cited "irreconcilable differences" between the couple and said no further comment would be made.

The couple married in 2016 and have three children. Divorce papers have not yet been filed, the representative added.
