French midfielder joins Gabala on loan

Azerbaijan’s Gabala FK have signed French defensive midfielder Samba Sissoko on loan until the end of the season on the final day of the transfer window.

The 26-year-old joins from French side Valenciennes FC, the club said.

Sissoko previously played for Stade de Reims, Ukraine’s Vorskla Poltava and Belgium’s RFC Seraing, and represented France at U-19 and U-21 level.
