Azerbaijan beat San Marino in friendly

Azerbaijan’s national football team defeated San Marino 2-1 in an international friendly match.

The game, played in the Hungarian city of Szombathely, saw San Marino take the lead in the ninth minute through captain Nicola Nanni.

Azerbaijan equalised in the 27th minute with a goal from Rahman Dashdamirov before striker Renat Dadashov scored the winner early in the second half.
