Azerbaijan to host first FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on measures related to hosting the first FIFA World Cup and Festival for boys under 15.

Preparations for the tournament and related organisational matters will be coordinated by the committee previously established to organise the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Azerbaijan in 2027.

The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to address issues arising from the order.

The FIFA Council Bureau decided on June 25 that the first FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival would be held in Azerbaijan from October 22 to 31, 2026.
