Sabah suffer 0-4 Champions League defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford

Baku-based Sabah fell to a 0-4 away defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford in matchday one of the UEFA Champions League league phase.

Matheus Cunha opened the scoring for the hosts in the 27th minute. Bruno Fernandes doubled the lead late in the first half, before Benjamin Šeško added a third in the 45th minute to make it 3-0 going into the break.

Lisandro Martínez sealed the victory with a 68th-minute strike.

Sabah will return to action on October 13, hosting Czech side Slavia Prague in Baku for their second league-phase fixture.
