Hungary’s low-cost airline company WizzAir will resume flights between Baku and Budapest in March, said Arif Mammadov, deputy head of Azerbaijan Airlines (Azal).
Azal and WizzAir will sign an agreement on the resumption of flights on Oct. 27, Mammadov told reporters in Baku.
"Azal accepted 99 percent of WizzAir’s proposals,” Mammadov said.
The Hungarian company suspended flights to Azerbaijan last year over disagreements with Azal.
