Trump uncertain about travel plans after UAE summit

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Thursday he had not yet made a final decision on his travel schedule following the summit currently underway in the United Arab Emirates.
“They keep calling us: ‘Can you be here? Can you be there?’ But most likely, we’re going back to Washington,” Trump told reporters.
Trump had earlier said he would consider traveling to Istanbul if Russian President Vladimir Putin were to attend the talks with Ukraine.
Upon returning to Washington, the U.S. administration will evaluate the timing and feasibility of a meeting between Trump and Putin, Secretary of State Marco Rubio said. “We’ll wait to see what happens tomorrow at the talks, and then we’ll decide on the timeline and format of a possible meeting,” he added.
