Lavrov arrives in Alaska wearing 'USSR' sweater

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov arrived in Alaska on Thursday ahead of the scheduled summit between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
Lavrov was seen exiting a car in Anchorage wearing a dark sweater bearing the letters “USSR,” according to video footage captured by reporters. He briefly told a Russian journalist that he had been to Alaska before, then entered the hotel.
No official comments on his visit have been released so far.
