Vance says Trump administration largely aligned with Zelenskiy on Ukraine’s territorial integrity

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance said President Donald Trump’s administration is largely aligned with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy on defending Ukraine’s territorial integrity.
“On the question of territory, we are to a significant degree in solidarity with President Zelenskiy,” Vance told USA Today.
He added that while differences remain, Washington wants to ensure Ukraine’s territorial integrity and does not want Russia to conquer the entire country. Vance also said the conflict had reached a stage where “the Russians aren’t achieving much of anything” and the Ukrainians “aren’t achieving anything at all,” adding that ending the war and stopping the loss of life would be in everyone’s interest.
