Ukraine preparing new meetings in the U.S., Zelensky says
Ukraine is preparing new meetings in the United States where National Security and Defence Council Secretary Rustem Umerov and Chief of the General Staff Andriy Hnatov will continue talks with representatives of U.S. President Donald Trump, President Volodymyr Zelensky said.
He noted that the dialogue will resume after the U.S. team returns from Moscow and holds consultations in Washington. Zelensky said updates on upcoming meetings — both in-person and by phone — are expected in the coming days.
The president added that during recent discussions in Geneva and Florida, Ukraine’s position was heard and taken into account. “A just peace is only possible with regard to Ukraine’s interests,” he said.
