UK appoints first defence attaché to Armenia
The United Kingdom has appointed Major Thomas Shorland Ball as its first defence attaché to Armenia, the British Embassy in Yerevan said on Wednesday.
The embassy said the move reflects the growing strength of the UK–Armenia partnership and will support deeper cooperation in defence and security.
Earlier, Armenia and the UK announced the creation of defence attaché positions at their embassies in London and Yerevan as part of efforts to expand military cooperation.
