Windows 11 labeled the most unreliable operating system
Journalists at XDA have outlined why Windows 11 continues to suffer persistent issues. According to columnist Adam Conway, many core functions of the OS are broken, and overall performance has worsened each year since its 2021 release. He argues that Microsoft has failed to build a stable platform.
Conway says company engineers are overly focused on rolling out new artificial intelligence features in Windows 11. “Microsoft’s fixation on AI distracts from the real problems,” he said. CEO Satya Nadella previously acknowledged that 30% of the Windows 11 codebase was written by a neural network.
Journalists note that users expect stability — a responsive Start menu, fast file manager and other basic features that should work reliably, not ambitious add-ons.
