Telegram blocks over 235,000 channels and groups

Telegram has blocked hundreds of thousands of channels and groups in a single day. According to the company, more than 235,000 resources distributing prohibited content were deactivated on February 15.

Most of the blocked accounts were said to be sharing pornographic and terrorist material. The company stated that it will continue strengthening content moderation and efforts to combat illegal content.
