Five Azerbaijani soldiers injured in mine explosion in Kalbajar

 Five Azerbaijani servicemen were injured when a military truck hit a landmine in the Kalbajar district, local media reported on Monday.

Initially, only one injured soldier was reported — 39-year-old E. Tanryverdiyev, who is in stable condition. Later reports said that an army “Ural” vehicle had struck a mine, injuring four more servicemen: 29-year-olds N. Nuriyev and M. Garaev, 42-year-old R. Ismayilov, and 38-year-old E. Akhmedov.

All were hospitalized with moderate injuries. Authorities are investigating the incident.
