Azerbaijan Police Report Dozens of Arrests and Crime Investigations on Feb. 19

Azerbaijan’s law enforcement authorities reported multiple crime resolutions and arrests across the country on February 19, the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Press Service said.

Police said 73 new and 4 previously pending criminal cases were cleared by officers during the day.

A total of 104 individuals wanted by authorities, including 73 sought as debtors, were detained and handed over to the relevant agencies.

Additionally, 45 incidents related to drugs and 13 cases involving illegal weapons and ammunition were recorded. Authorities also detained 67 suspects linked to criminal activities.
