Ministry: Ukraine destroyed 4 Russian planes, 1 helicopter

Over the past day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed four Russian warplanes, one helicopter, two drones, and two cruise missiles, reported from the Defense Ministry of Ukraine.

According to the ministry, 5 Russian attacks from Donetsk and Luhansk have been prevented over the past day, 2 tanks, an infantry fighting vehicle and a car have been destroyed, and the number of casualties is being determined.

The Ukrainian military forces have reinforced the defense measures in the direction of Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, and Mykolayiv.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces are stepping up their defenses around Kyiv, preventing the Russian troops from entering from the northwest and east.

Fighting continues in the settlements of Topolsk, Kamenka, and Sukhaya Kamenka.

Russia launched military operations in Ukraine on February 24.
