Iran denies Armenian demonstrations against Azerbaijan in Tehran

Iran's embassy in Baku has denied demonstrations by Iranian-Armenians on the 101st anniversary of the "Armenian genocide".


Mohammad Reza Najafi, Iran's Press Attach� in Baku, rejected reports published by Azerbaijan's media about Armenian demonstrations in Tehran involving anti-Azerbaijan actions.


He said publication of such untrue reports is aimed at damaging the growing Iran-Azerbaijan relationships.


Najafi called on the media to publish "precise reports" and contribute to development of Iran-Azerbaijan ties.
