Armenian armed units violate ceasefire 146 times

Armenian armed units have violated the ceasefire regime a total of 146 times using 60mm mortar launchers in different directions along the contact line within a day, the Defense Ministry said on Aug. 18.

Armenian armed units fired on the positions of Azerbaijani Armed Forces located in Gizilhajili village of Gazakh district from the positions located in Berkaber village of Armenia’s Ijevan district.

 Armenians also fired on Azerbaijani positions located in nameless uplands of Gadabay district from the posts in nameless uplands of Krasnoselsk district.

The Azerbaijani positions also underwent fire from the positions near Tapgaragoyunlu, Gulustan villages of Goranboy, Chilaburt, Goyarkh, Yarimja, Chayli, Giziloba villages of Terter, Shikhlar, Kengerli, Novruzlu, Yusifjanli, Merzili, Shuraabad, Shirvanli, Javahirli villages of Aghdam, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand, Garakhanbeyli, Horadiz, Ashagi Abdurrahmanli, Ashagi Seyidahmadli, Ashagi Veyselli, Gorgan villages of Fuzuli, Mehdili village of Jabrayil, as well as nameless uplands of Goygol, Goranboy, Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrayil districts.

The enemy was silenced by retaliatory fire.
