Astronaut tweets pic of 'UFO' from Space Station

Alien conspiracy theorists have been sent into a spin over a picture tweeted from the International Space Station.

The snap was shot by US astronaut Scott Kelly, who is the first person to attempt to spend a year in orbit.

Mr Kelly tweeted the picture of India from more than 200 miles above the Earth with the simple message "Day 233. Once upon a #star over Southern India. #GoodNight from @space_station! #YearInSpace."

But many UFO hunters believe he was "trying to tell the world about the existence of aliens".

And many are convinced NASA is involved in an intergalactic cover up to hide the truth about UFOs from the masses.

One Alien addict has posted a video on YouTube thanking Kelly for sharing the 'UFO' image.

The video states: "Last night aboard the International Space Station astronaut Scott Kelly tweeted this photo.

"It was taken while the ISS was over India.

"In the upper right of the photo you can clearly see a large object with two lights on each end.

"It also appears to be very large and constructed.

"I would find it hard to believe that Scott Kelly did not notice this when he tweeted this out. It really sticks out like a sore thumb.

"Scott Kelly thank you for sending this photo down to Earth.

"Hardly a week goes by without someone from the ISS sending us a photo or video that really is quite strange and it is left for us to decide."

Many have claimed for months to regularly see strange UFOs and lights on camera which are seemingly "monitoring the space station".

Scott C waring, editor of blog site UFOsightingsdaily.com, said: "When an astronaut tweets a photo of a UFO, you can bet people notice it.

"Scott Kelly likes to send out photos of the view from the windows of the space station, and they look cool.

"This one however has a cigar shaped glowing UFO with a metallic body in it.

"The UFO is about 25 meters long and 150 to 200 meters away.

"It looks like Scott was trying to hint at the existence of aliens. Massage received Scott, and thanks."
