UFO investigator 'spots Jabba the Hutt' on Mars

Space lovers have scanned thousands of photos taken by NASA in a bid to find signs of extra-terrestrial life on the barren face of the red planet.
And since space experts announced water may exist on the Martian surface, sightings have surged.
Now one YouTube channel, Paranormal Crucible, claims to have spotted the fictional Jabba the Hutt crouching behind a rock on the alien world.
The video states: "It’s quite reasonable to assume that a variety of exotic alien life could easily exist on Mars.
"I have no idea what this mysterious creature could be, but it does resemble a large slug-like toad.
"Or possibly a mutant variation of blobfish, or perhaps a combination of both.”
Scott C. Waring, who edits the website UFO Sightings Daily, said a number of faces could be made out in the image.
And he suggested that perhaps they were likenesses carved into the rocks to mark the final resting place of the dead.
He said: "A part of me thinks that since I did find a grave marker, that these faces are of the victims that died in this spot.
"[I think] that they made the faces after they found the bodies in the same location. The faces are at the exact same place the person died.
"[They are] probably made by AI drones programmed to pay a final respect to the deceased. A way not to be forgotten for a while.”
The original image was taken by the Mars Curiosity Rover, a car-sized NASA robot that has been exploring Mars since mid 2012.
Other recent sightings made by UFO enthusiasts on the red planet include a series of unnatural squares claimed to be underground alien bases.
While another hobbyist spotted a massive dome peeking over the top of an alien hill in what was described as an alien building.
And a self-styled Martian archaeologist said they saw a face carved into the side of a structure that rivalled the Pyramids of Giza on Earth.
In the Star Wars universe, Jabba the Hutt is a powerful slug-like crime boss who places a bounty on the head of Jabba the Hutt.
