Huge asteroid to slam into Earth after eclipse and supermoon

The 30-metre long asteroid TX 68 is scheduled to whistle past Earth as close as 19,000 miles away on March 8.

But doomsday obsessives are unsure on NASA's estimates and believe the space rock could instead plunge into the globe.

A total solar eclipse and 2016's first massive super new moon – a night in which it appears 30% bigger – are also expected to blind our view of the oncoming asteroid.

In a video entitled "Armageddon March 8th???", YouTube filmaker Mike Morales said NASA did not have the evidence to claim the flying boulder would miss us.

"We won’t be able to see or track the asteroid with a telescope because it is coming from the sun's side," added Mr Morales.

"This is a big heads up. Is it Armageddon? Who knows, but no mainstream news is warning us, NASA is not warning us, so I am going to get ready. Make sure you have got plenty of food supplies and water.

"It could definitely come inside our satellite belt. This thing could take out our satellites and could our gravitation pull or the moon's gravitational pull move it in?"

NASA admits the rock could actually fly passed us at nearly 11million miles away.

The US space agency also changed the day of the pass from the initial March 5 date – further shaking the confidence of doom mongers.

A total solar eclipse – in which the moon blocks out the sun's rays – is expected to be seen on some parts of the planet.

As Express.co.uk writes, self-styled internet prophets have already predicted an asteroid or mythological rogue planet will strike Earth in March 2016.

In another video posted by YouTube channel BPEarthWatch, a narrator says: "This is definitely one to pay attention to, head up and be safe."

Doom mongers have previously and unsuccessfully looked into the crystal ball to predict the world's end.
