Incredible image of 'crash-landed' spacecraft on Mars baffles experts

They have given us a spectacular view of Earth's sister planet millions of miles away.

But many of the pictures have included various bizarre sightings, suggesting the planet was once home to life.

Statues paying homage to US president Barack Obama, a Mount Rushmore-style tribute to Queen Victoria, and even a gorilla and a camel on Mars are some of the weird spots truth-seekers claim is evidence an extra-terrestrial race graced the Red Planet.

Now an image has emerged of what appears to be a UFO spacecraft lodged into the planet's rocky surface.

The disc-shaped object bares the hallmarks of the classic flying saucer shape with a dome on top.
