Football player died during training in Zagatala

A player of Azerbaijani FC "Zagatala" died during training.

Today football player from Nigeria Michael Umaynika died during training. A dead body was sent to forensic examination, APA reports.

Club President Musa Gurbanov confirmed the fact about football player's death to apasport.az. According to him, the incident took place this afternoon, "Michael played for our team also in the last season. I do not even know what to say. Last season, he successfully passed the medical examination at the club. This season he has recently returned, and died in training today. 
Now I am in Baku, tomorrow I will leave for Zagatala " Gurbanov said.

According to the preliminary version, the death was caused by a cardiac blood clot, the central district hospital of Zagatala said.

The investigation is underway.
