Earlier, a public prosecutor had demanded the court to jail Ibrahimov for 9 years.

He is charged under the articles 234.4.1 (illegal manufacturing, purchase, storage, transportation, transfer or selling of narcotics, psychotropic substances on preliminary arrangement by group of persons or organized group) and 234.4.3 (drug trafficking on a large scale) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
