Nar network is switched to reinforced mode
29.07.2019 15:53
Nar, having one of the country's most powerful 4G (LTE-A) networks, has completed its work aimed at ensuring network resilience in order to fully meet the telecommunication needs of viewers and young athletes, representing 48 countries at the "XV European Youth Summer Olympics Festival”, held in our capital city in the period from 21 to 27 of July.

The mobile operator has completed the analysis of the mobile communication network in the designated areas to meet the requirements of the EYOF 2019 event and provide high-speed internet access for viewers who want to share the excitement of the Olympics on social networks. Taking into account the demands of customers in the competition areas and event venues, the capacity of the mobile network has been significantly expanded and users received the opportunity to use high-speed 4G (LTE-A) mobile internet. Nar has installed mobile base stations in the relevant areas to ensure the stable use of telecommunication services in the most crowded venues and areas. It should be noted that the analysis and sustainability of the mobile communication network was carried out in 13 competition areas along with non-competition areas.

Nar employees will control the network in 24/7 mode to ensure the stability of the mobile network in the areas where the competitions will be held and will provide support to network users. Detailed information about the Nar network is available on the Nar.az website.

It should be noted that in case of any questions, Nar subscribers can use the high-quality customer service in any convenient way - Call Center, via personal cabinet, social networks, SMS and e-mail.

"Azerfon” LLC (Nar brand) has started its operations on March 21, 2007, and within a short period of time became one of the leading companies of the telecommunications and mobile communication industry of Azerbaijan. Being the first operator in the country to introduce the 3G technology, Nar provides the customers with a wide 4G network coverage.  With a large network of over 7400 base stations, covering 97% of the country’s territory (except for occupied territories), Nar provides more than 2.4 million subscribers with the high quality services.
