President Ilham Aliyev awards Azerbaijani Paralympians

President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order to award athletes with disabilities and their coaches for the highest results at the 16th Summer Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

According to the order, the amount of awards for Azerbaijan's athletes with disabilities and their coaches for the highest results achieved at the 16th Summer Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, was determined as follows:

-200,000 (two hundred thousand) manats for each first-place athlete and 100,000 (one hundred thousand) manats for the coach

-100,000 (one hundred thousand) manats for each second-place athlete and 50,000 (fifty thousand) manats for the coach;

- 50,000 (fifty thousand) manats for each third-place athlete and 25,000 (twenty-five thousand) manats for the coach.

The Cabinet of Ministers must resolve the issues arising from this Order.
