New minister: I am sure we can achieve further success in sports

"The trust shown to me by country's President Ilham Aliyev and the appointment to the post of the Minister of Youth and Sports is a great honor for me," the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov said on his Facebook page.

"I am confident that we can achieve further success in sports with a robust management system built in Azerbaijan and a specialized team. I extend my congratulations and best wishes to all my colleagues, friends, and sports community members worldwide," he stressed.

Gayibov was appointed the Minister of Youth and Sports on September 7.
