Body of fourth dead oilman found in Caspian

Rescue teams have found the body of a SOCAR worker killed in an accident in the Caspian Sea on October 23.

Abdulhasan Huseynov’s body was found in the bottom of the sea at around 0900 on November 1, SOCAR said on its website.

Three workers were killed and one went missing after a platform collapsed during repair works and a small wagon-house fell into the sea. 

There were 41 workers on the site at the time: 37 of them were evacuated immediately.

SOCAR set up a commission to investigate the accident.
