National Cancer Center gets official status from Varian Medical Systems

National Cancer Center’s director Jamil Aliyev and Varian Medical Systems’ vice president Fritz Derrer have signed a cooperation agreement.

The Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan informs that in accordance with the agreement the National Cancer Center will receive the official status of the training & advisory center Varian on radiotherapy, abc.az reports.

The Azerbaijani centre’s radiotherapy department receives 200-250 people a day and up to 3,000 patients a year.
