Celebrities have been taking to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram in their droves to take part in the new Wake Up Call campaign, which is being dubbed the new Ice Bucket challenge.

The brand new internet craze involves celebrities posting selfies of themselves as they wake up in bed - and aims to raise money and awareness for UNICEF. Pictures are posted with the hashtag #WAKEUPCALL #UNICEF Text SYRIA to 70007 (to give £5) or http://wwwwakeupcall.org.uk - with each person nominating three others to do the same. The campaign is not dissimilar from the No Make-Up Selfie, which started the trend earlier this year and raised millions of pounds for Cancer Research UK.Naomi Campbell was among the first to post her picture first thing in the morning and the glamorous supermodel wore a simple white camisole nightie while lying among luxurious white bedding. Model Daisy Lowe posted an equally stunning make-up free snap as she lay against an ornate grey headboard.UK Unicef Ambassador Jemima Khan herself posted a wide-mouthed expression. She launched the social media campaign to help Syrian refugee children, following a trip to Jordan’s refugee camps. She told MailOnline: 'The main aim is to raise lots of money fast for Syrian refugee children. I went to meet Syrian refugees in the camps in Jordan last week and the situation is desperate. 'I am hosting a fundraising dinner to raise money for UNICEF’s campaign for Syrian refugees at the end of October for Halloween but this is an emergency.(dailymail.co.uk)Bakudaily.Az
