Azerbaijani swimmer reaches final of European Championship

Azerbaijani swimmer Ramil Valizade qualified for the finals of the European Youth Championship held in Bucharest, Romania.

The 18-year-old athlete took third place in the semi-final in the 200-meter butterfly.

Valizade reached the finish line in 1 minute 58.93 seconds.

Azerbaijan is represented by three swimmers in the competition. Rashad Alguliyev and Abdurrahman Rustamov will start to compete today.
