Transit gas transportation from Ukraine to Europe reaches historic low

The transmission of Russian natural gas from the territory of Ukraine to Europe via transit is at a historical minimum, the Gas Transportation System Operator of Ukraine has said in a statement.
Reported from UNIAN, that the company believes Russia can transport large volumes of natural gas to Europe via an alternative route. Currently, Gazprom company uses 7/1 of its capacity for daily transit transportation of gas, which means 334 million cubic meters of gas.
According to the information, in the middle of June, Russia reduced the transportation of natural gas through the North Stream-1 gas pipeline by 40%. Gazprom will completely stop supplying gas to Europe through this pipeline on July 11-21 due to repairs.
