Exchange gas prices in Europe on September 9 fell by almost 2.6% and are trading slightly above $2,200 per 1,000 cubic meters, reported from the data of the London Stock Exchange ICE.

October futures (according to the index of the largest European hub TTF) opened trading at $2,280.3 per 1,000 cubic meters (+0.5%), but soon went down. Then they gradually declined to $2,210.4. The dynamics of quotations is based on the settlement price of the previous day - $2,269 per 1,000 cubic meters.

In early March, gas prices in Europe, due to fears of a ban on the import of Russian energy resources, renewed their historical highs for four days in a row. The price record of $3,892 per 1,000 cubic meters was reached on March 7.
