9 killed in wedding motorcade accident in Azerbaijan

Nine people were killed when a wedding motorcade car collided head on with another car on the road in Azerbaijan, local police said.

The accident took place in Goychay region, which is located on the 220th km of the Baku-Gazakh road.

Four people, three women and a man, were killed on the spot in the accident, and six other passengers were taken to hospital. Five of them died later in hospital from serious injuries.
