Global Firepower: Ukraine rises in ranking of strongest armies

In the annual Global Firepower ranking of the strongest armies in the world, prepared by US analysts, Ukraine ranked 15th among 145 countries, reported from UNIAN.

Ukraine ranked 22nd in 2022 and 27th in 2020.

When compiling the rating, experts used more than 60 separate factors to determine the assessment of each country, taking into account the number of military units and financial condition, logistical capabilities, geography and other aspects.

The US, Russia, China, India, Great Britain, North Korea, Pakistan, Japan, France and Italy are in the top 10.

Moldova, Benin and Bhutan closed the list, ranking 143rd, 144th and 154th, respectively.
